What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese art of healing. Where “acus” means “needles” and “puncture” means “to penetrate”
How does it work?
This is not an easy question which can be easily fully answered in our present state of knowledge. The effect observed on needling is both subjective and objective.One of the subjective effects may be slight pain at the site of needling but with the use of a qualified and trained acupuncturist this is usually negligible. As regards the objective effects produced by needling, six different effects may be recognized. They are

- psychological
- motor recovery
What are the different types of Acupuncture available?
Using needle is the best method. New methods of stimulating the acupuncture points have been devised indicating ultrasound and laser therapy
